Sketching in Lisbon, July 2011

My friend, an enthusiastic sketcher, convinced me to join her and many more enthusiastic sketchers in Lisbon for The Urban Sketchers Symposium. Armed with my very new sketchbook I attended various of the workshops along with others and started to sketch. I have long neglected this particular discipline, working as I do in the studio painting directly onto canvas. There is no getting away from the fact that a little sketching every day is a good thing! So thank you M. for showing me the light!
